The Student Organizer reports to the Rural Organizing Director and is responsible for base building on college campuses and grassroots organizing towards our objectives. This entry-level position serves as the liaison between community and organization.  Student Organizer role will be focused on actively recruiting and mobilizing  students to participate in campaigns, rallies, or advocacy efforts around specific issues, often related to social justice, environmental concerns, or student rights, by building grassroots support, coordinating events, and training other students to become effective leaders on and off campus. Ideal applicant has schedule flexibility to work at least 20-25 hours per week with up to 40 available. This position is through January 31, 2025, with the potential for extension.
