The Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board has an opening for an Engineering Geologist in its Wastewater Permitting (Waste Discharge Requirements, or WDR) program. The position is located at 895 Aerovista Place, Suite 101, San Luis Obispo, California. 

Duties:

The Engineering Geologist is expected to work independently, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks. Daily proficient utilization of office equipment and the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate motorized vehicle to inspections sites.

Candidates must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to perform the assigned duties of the class.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
