Lighting Controls Service Technician
Job Description:
Enterprise Lighting Sales is seeking a results-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Controls Technician. You will play a crucial role in the startup, commissioning, and re-commissioning of controls systems, providing technical assistance, and troubleshooting issues during service visits.
Responsibilities
Execute startup, commissioning, and re-commissioning activities for controls systems
Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot issues during service visits, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
Work under pressure to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality service
Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments for installation and maintenance tasks
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Stay updated on the latest releases of hardware, software, systems, and electrical and energy codes
Learn and adapt to new control systems as technology evolves
Communicate and coordinate with ELS technicians, support teams, onsite electrical contractors, and construction personnel
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience in designing and implementing lighting control systems for commercial projects
Proficient in relevant software tools and programming languages for lighting controls applications
Strong understanding of lighting technology, electrical systems, and industry codes and standards
Effective communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and adapt to evolving project requirements
Eagerness to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
