Sport Communications and Marketing Intern

Supreme Fight Night is a dynamic, rapidly growing Mixed Martial Arts league based in Guadalajara, Mexico. We're seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Communications & Marketing Intern. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of combat sports and contribute to the growth of our league. We are looking for an intern to be based in the exciting city of Guadalajara, Mexico for at least 6 months. As an intern, you'll work closely with our team to develop and execute marketing strategies, manage social media, create engaging content, and assist with event planning. This position reports to the Creative Director and collaborates with other staff as needed. Depending on the experience of the intern, a small stipend can be negotiated. 

Projects and Duties: 

• Support the communications team in developing and organizing content digital communications (i.e., organize WhatsApp group stories, written stories, manage Facebook groups, support graphic design text). 

• Assist with content creation and management of social media sites, website, online campaigns, and digital advertising channels. 

• Assist in creation of subtitles for mini doc series. 

• Translation of documents and creation copies for social media.

• Assist in the operation of Events.

• Other duties as assigned. 

Essential Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Firm grasp of social media tools and platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.

Qualifications:

· Passion for contact sports 

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field (communications/journalism, marketing), or pursuing a degree in a related field.

· Strong organization and attention to detail 

· Proven leadership experience and a passion for listening, learning, and building relationships 

· Enthusiasm and people skills for team-oriented environment 

· Self-directed and confident 

· Experience working in cross-cultural settings is a plus 

· Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Google Drive, and others.
