Wisconsin Population Health Service Fellow

The Wisconsin Population Health Service Fellowship Program is a two-year service and training program designed for early career post-graduate public health professionals. Fellows are placed in practice-based settings in community, non-profit, governmental, and/or health service organizations around Wisconsin. Through a curriculum focused on health equity and collaborative leadership, fellows leave the program with a health equity lens applied to their practice as well as tangible skills in public health programming and management. 

Applications for our 2025-2027 cohort of fellows are open through January 15, 2025 (appointment term July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2027). 

Applicants should have:

  • A masters or doctoral degree in public health or an allied discipline prior to the start date of the appointment (July 1 2025)
  • Relevant work experience in public health or related field and demonstrated interest in community-based public health practice
  • US citizenship or be a foreign national with US permanent resident status

A virtual information session for those interested in joining the 2025-2027 cohort will be held Thursday December 5th from 12:00 - 1:00pm Central Time (register here). To note, a recording from one of the info sessions will be posted on the website for those who can not attend.
