ARRAY Filmworks Film Production Intern (Spring 2025)

SUMMARY: 

We are looking for dedicated, "can-do" types to work alongside the Filmworks team of our arts and advocacy collective, ARRAY. ARRAY Filmworks is the development & production pillar of ARRAY and helps drive the management and execution of our content across all formats. We are seeking interns to support the physical production arm of the ARRAY Filmworks team to help review, track and organize our current and development projects in scripted, unscripted, film, animation and podcasts. The ideal candidates will be proactive and able to jump in and perform any task that is needed. If you are familiar with the term "elbow grease" and know how to apply that to a work environment, then ARRAY might be the place for you.   

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Catalog resumes and credits for Below-the-Line crew members 
  • Provide support with filing of production assets 
  • Capture and review schedules, budgets, and cost reports 
  • Track progress of our various productions in all stages 
  • Update internal calendars and grids 
  • Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school with experience and/or coursework in Writing, Communications, Film, Media Production, a combination of these areas, or similar fields 
  • This internship must be eligible for academic credit 
  • A desire to grow in the development or production entertainment space  
  • Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks and share opinions and ideas 
  • Good understanding of the latest content trends and production techniques 
  • Ability to manage many administrative tasks at once and take initiative to organize incoming data, documents, emails, and sensitive information 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail is a must 
  • High proficiency in G-Suite, MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Movie Magic Budgeting Software, Adobe, and Keynote are a plus
