Cost and Scheduling Analyst
Position Overview: Join the Cost and Scheduling Engineering & Analysis Branch (V36) at NSWCDD, where you will play a key role in developing cost estimating and schedule analysis products for complex combat systems, electronics, sensors, software development, and systems integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost estimating and schedule analysis studies for warfare systems and capabilities.
- Participate in naval and joint warfare analysis, focusing on existing and conceptual military systems.
- Develop methodologies, tools, and models to assess the cost and affordability of military systems and components.
- Support Earned Value Management, estimate Operations & Support (O&S) costs, and develop cost estimating relationships while assessing cost uncertainty and integrated master schedules.
Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical experts and program managers.
- Proven ability to plan and coordinate work to achieve project and organizational goals.
- Intermediate knowledge of analysis and problem-solving techniques relevant to scientific and engineering tasks.
- Knowledge of system analysis, statistical methods, and DoD cost estimating policies.

- Ability to formulate mathematical models and apply analytical techniques to evaluate complex problems.
