Revenue Management and Analytics Intern, Anaheim, Spring 2025

About the Role & Program 

The Revenue Management and Analytics (RM&A) team is part of the Commercial Strategy and Finance team that supports clients across Disney Experiences including Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise, Food & Beverage, and Special Events in the core proficiencies of yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, pricing, promotions, strategy development, and optimization. The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025.

What You Will Do 

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our RM&A (Revenue Management & Analytics) team! In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in forecasting and pricing strategies across various lines of business at Disneyland Resort. You will contribute to key business decisions through analytical work and help uncover opportunities to get results. Every day in this role is unique and exciting! On any day you might:

  • Collaborate within Revenue Management and Finance teams to cultivate a deep understanding of the business to provide data needs, analytics, and actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  • Generate reporting and ad-hoc analyses of historical and current data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities across multiple lines of business.
  • Build and maintain data visualization dashboards using Tableau or similar tools to deliver insights and enable internal efficiencies.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of data processes and workflows.

Required Qualifications & Skills 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA or Power Query)
  • Experience collecting & analyzing data and reporting on the results.
  • Experience in data handling and manipulation in a programming language such as SQL.
  • Knowledge of data visualization/business intelligence software, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with one or more analytical tools (e.g., R, python, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Natural curiosity and inquisitiveness and enjoy solving problems.
  • Self-starter with proven initiative - able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Prior experience or relevant coursework that required preparation of PowerPoint decks to make compelling business recommendations, overview analysis findings, and/or share general information in a compelling way.
  • Experience with statistical modeling and/or forecasting.

Education 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • A student studying in their junior or senior year, or a recent graduate within 6 months of graduation date is eligible to apply.
  • A major in Analytics, Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related major is preferred.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information 

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information 

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025.
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of program in the Anaheim, CA area.
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
