Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemist to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Chemist, you will be responsible for leading projects, conducting research, and developing new products in our CPG sector. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of chemistry principles, a proven track record of innovation, and the ability to mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research and development projects from concept to commercialization.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, analyze results, and interpret findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Mentor and train junior chemists and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in chemistry.
- Management Role: Oversee the junior chemist
Qualifications:
- Master's in Chemistry or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in formulating CPG
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for Cosmetics, OTC, and Personal Care Lubricants, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer preferences.
- Drive product innovation and manage lifecycle from concept to launch, collaborating cross-functionally to optimize inventory and achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research, analyze sales performance, and monitor competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and consumer insights specific to Cosmetics, OTC, and Personal Care Lubricants.
- Lead promotional campaigns, negotiate partnerships with retail channels, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards for Cosmetics, OTC, and Personal Care Lubricants products.
- Proven track record of successful project management and product development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Assume a multifaceted role encompassing leadership in formulation development, technical oversight of laboratory operations, strategic input in product innovation, and collaborative engagement across cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in Cosmetics, OTC, and Personal Care Lubricants.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to formulating
