After-School Program Instructor (STEM and/or ART)

Job description

**PLEASE read the entire ad before applying. The short version of this description is:

  • Pay: $45/class, plus 50 cents per mile if driving more than 20m roundtrip.
  • Location: Multiple schools in the general Columbus area
  • Dates: September - November (between 6-8 weeks)
  • Nexplore Enrichments (www.nexploreusa.com): is an after-school program. You will be teaching our programming to school-ages children (curriculum and materials provided).

Qualifications:

  • Part-time position
  • 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
  • Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning in children
  • Experience working with children
  • Educational (development or training) experience
  • Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
  • Must commit to the full proposed schedule
  • Great communication and presentation skills

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Willing to complete a background check and fingerprints
  • Willing to complete mandatory training
