Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and talented Journalism Script Writing Intern to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research and creative writing, contributing to the development of high-quality scripts for documentaries and other journalistic content. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong research skills, a keen eye for detail, and a flair for storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research on assigned topics to gather accurate and relevant information.
• Develop creative and engaging scripts for documentaries and journalistic content.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and pitch story ideas.
• Assist in the editing and proofreading of scripts to ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency.
• Stay updated on current events, trends, and developments relevant to assigned topics.
• Adhere to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall creative process.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent research abilities with a knack for uncovering compelling stories and details.
• Creativity and the ability to craft engaging narratives.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with AP Style or other journalistic writing standards is a plus.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
