Experienced Biochemist

Job Brief: We are seeking an experienced Biochemist with a strong background in the study and manipulation of DNA, RNA, enzymes, antibodies, and antigens. The primary focus of this role is to contribute to our understanding and application of biochemical processes, with the opportunity to engage in organic synthesis and formulation chemistry projects as additional areas of involvement. A Master’s or Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a related field is preferred, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a research or industrial setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead research projects focused on biochemistry, including the study and application of DNA, RNA, and enzyme processes.
  • Design and conduct experiments related to biochemistry, utilizing experimental design software to analyze and interpret data.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop new biochemical products and improve existing ones.
  • Engage in organic synthesis and formulations chemistry as secondary areas of research, contributing expertise to a broad range of projects.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of research findings and methodologies for internal review and external publication.
  • Stay informed on the latest scientific advancements in biochemistry and related fields, incorporating innovative techniques and knowledge into research projects.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in biochemistry research, with a strong emphasis on DNA, RNA, and enzyme chemistry.
  • Experience with organic synthesis and formulation chemistry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in experimental design software and a strong analytical background.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and detail-oriented approach to research.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Experience working in a wet lab environment is essential.
