Junior Cabinet Designer/Sales

At Ronbow, we specialize in crafting personalized custom cabinets that blend quality and style to meet the unique needs of our clients. We're looking for a passionate Junior Cabinet Designer to support our Senior Designers and play a critical role in bringing kitchen cabinetry visions to life. This position offers a path toward becoming a Design Project Manager or Senior Designer.

Role Overview

As a Junior Cabinet Designer, you'll assist in creating innovative and functional kitchen cabinet designs. This role is perfect for those with a detail-oriented approach, budding proficiency in design software, and a drive to deliver top-notch customer service. Working under the guidance of our Senior Designers, you'll be contributing to the design process and ensuring client visions are realized.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize design software and advanced technology to maximize efficiency in designing projects and provide professional guidelines for customers
  • Implement layout design, understand color combinations, suggest recommendations and reconfiguration options
  • Create, modify, and refine designs to conform to client’s specifications, production limitations, and changes in design trends and take projects from start to completion
  • Assist and educate customers with their kitchen/bathroom/closet remodeling needs
  • Translate complicated technical jargon. You will need to speak to clients about our product features and differentiators compared with other brands and confidently answer questions they might have
  • Coordinate client quotations from start to finish
  • Communicate professionally with staff and customers in a respectful, tactful, and concise manner
  • Keep management informed of weekly activity plans, progress, and monthly analysis
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending online educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks
  • Recommend changes in products, services, or policies by evaluating results and client feedback

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience and proficient using design software (2020, AutoCAD, Chief Architect)
  • Minimum 3+ years of kitchen cabinetry design experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of proven Sales experience
  • Good computer skills (MS Office)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Must bring a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Experience with European-style frameless cabinetry is a plus
