Masters student in Biology.

Open position for Masters Plan A thesis program at the Biology department of Case Western Reserve University. This is a 2 year program leading to a Masters degree in Biology. Student will gain experience at research lab by developing an original thesis work, while doing coursework in Cell and molecular biology or related fields, and working as a teaching assistant in exchange for tuition waiver. Great opportunity to gain lab skills for a PhD program, or to improve curriculum for medical/dental school applications. The lab researches developmental biology and adult nervous system function using Drosophila as a model system, and combine methods of 3D super-resolution confocal microscopy, image analysis, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and genetics.
