About the Role:

Communications Analyst: As a Communications Analyst Fellow, you'll embark on a journey to acquire a skill set that will open doors to diverse opportunities, ranging from marketing coordinator to web editor to change manager. Your role will involve developing internal marketing materials, providing support for new and existing websites (including content creation, basic structure, templated design, and editorial upkeep), and contributing to change management strategies within UCSF's School of Medicine.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation of internal marketing materials that resonate with the organization's objectives.
  • Support the maintenance and development of websites, ensuring content is engaging and well-structured.
  • Collaborate on change management strategies, fostering an environment conducive to innovation and growth.
  • Gain exposure to various aspects of communications, marketing, and content creation.
  • Participate in projects that enhance the School of Medicine's digital presence and outreach efforts.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 100% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
