The ME team does product development, multi-disciplinary work, so you are never siloed which is an incredible experience. There is no bad idea here, we are open- minded, imagining the impossible. You should understand CAD tools, process, material science, while also pushing your imagination into areas never thought of. Instead of, "we can't do that", we speak of "we need to figure out how to make this fit into that space" and make it possible.
Our Mechanical team is hiring Summer interns!
This team will likely be hiring 1-2 interns for Summer 2018. This team will have some mid to senior level candidates in the team and mentored by our full time engineers from this group. Master & PhD candidates (in their Junior or Senior years) are urged to apply and indicate interest.
Majors: Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor, Master & PhD candidates (in their Junior or Senior years)
Technologies / Languages: Solidworks, Prototyping(full cycle) required.
Projects that you may work on:
The ME Intern(s) will design, fabricate prototypes for new possible products that will reach the market. You will handle next generation optics assemblies, headsets, or peripherals. Solidworks and prototype fabrication experience. A product design portfolio (even academic projects) are preferred.

- Portfolio, with academic projects or previous internships
