Multimedia Editing Intern – Historical Archive & Documentary Project (Treasures of '56)
Seeking a detail-oriented and creative Multimedia Editing Intern to assist with organizing, editing, and preparing recorded video and audio interviews for archival and promotional use. This is an ideal hands-on opportunity for a student interested in documentary production, oral history preservation, digital asset management, or fine art documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, log, and organize raw video and audio footage captured from oral history interviews and sittings.
Perform primary cuts, audio cleanup, and synchronization for documentary and promotional media clips.
Assist with digital asset management and file organization for project archives.
Collaborate closely on assembling short-form digital media highlights for exhibition and outreach materials.
Qualifications:
Current student or recent graduate in Film Studies, Digital Arts, Emerging Media, Art History, or a related field.
Experience with standard video and audio editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Audition).
Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated interest in documentary storytelling, cultural heritage, or oral history.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle sensitive archival media responsibly.
