PaperRoc is an academic writing tool developed by a group of university faculty. We aim to advocate responsible and ethical AI use in colleges.  It works from your course materials and grading rubric, drafts in your own voice, mock-grades your paper before submission, verifies every citation, and generates an AI-use disclosure you can hand in alongside your work. 

We are a small team. We are looking for students who will use the product themselves and tell us candidly what is working and what is not.

 

The Role

We provide you with a personalized referral code. You share it with classmates, friends and student organizations. You earn a commission each time someone who used your code makes a purchase.

Expected commitment is 3–5 hours per week, on your own schedule. There are no quotas and no required hours. 

 

Commission Structure

You earn a commission whenever a student who signed up through your referral code purchases a plan: 

  • Single Paper Pass ($7.99 one-time)          $2.00 per purchase  
  • Monthly Membership ($9.99/month)        $3.00 per subscriber         + $3.00 if they remain subscribed at day 60 
  • Semester Pass ($29.99 one-time)            $7.00 per purchase 

 

Commission rates increase across all tiers once you reach 25 paid conversions.

Payments are issued monthly, following the 14-day refund window on each transaction.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
  • Comfortable reaching out to classmates and student organizations
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
  • A completed W-9 is required before the first payout

 

Not eligible for paid work in the United States?

Our Referral Program is open to all students regardless of status. Participants receive product credits rather than cash, with no employment relationship. Please mention this in your email and we will send you the details.
