Video Production & Editing Intern

Employers 4 Change (E4C) is a trusted 3rd-party online recruiting platform that uses AI to align students with employers based on mission, values, and core skills. E4C ensures compliance with the Department of Labor’s 7 Criteria, making both unpaid and paid internships ethical, skill-building, and aligned with students’ academic goals.

Our platform tracks learning outcomes by measuring core skills, real-world tasks, and business application usage. Grant-funded research—published on EconStor and ResearchGate—showed measurable improvement in communication skills, with nearly identical growth scores between interns and their employee mentors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Edit podcast episodes (audio/video) for clarity, pacing, and branded delivery
  • Create quick bite videos from long-form content for social media distribution
  • Produce sizzle reels and highlight videos for events, interviews, and milestones
  • Design promotional and ad videos optimized for different platforms and audiences
  • Add motion graphics, lower thirds, subtitles, and branded assets to all video content
  • Organize and maintain raw footage, b-roll, and media asset libraries
  • Collaborate with podcast hosts, marketing, and creative teams for storytelling direction
  • Publish finalized content to platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and social media channels
  • Use AI tools for transcription, video clipping, resizing, and noise reduction
  • Stay updated on platform trends, formats, and best practices for vertical/ horizontal video
  • Assist in brainstorming new video ideas and strategies based on content goals
  • Ensure all videos meet accessibility standards and platform-specific specs
  • Available to work 16-20 hours a week and attend weekly team meetings as available

  • CapCut AI / Wisecut – automated editing, captions, and smart cuts
  • Lumen5 / Synthesia – create AI-generated explainers or promo content
  • Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / Audition – advanced editing and post-production
  • DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro – color grading and high-quality editing
  • Canva Pro / Adobe Express – quick edits, thumbnails, and branded visuals
  • YouTube Studio / Spotify for Podcasters / Anchor – video and podcast publishing
  • Frame.io / Trello / Notion – project feedback, collaboration, and tracking
  • Google Drive / Dropbox / WeTransfer – file management and team sharing


 

REQUIREMENTS:


 

  • PREFERRED: Student taking for school credit
  • Strong research
  • Strong communication (writing, verbal & listening) skills
  • Super creative and want to pitch ideas that includes research trends
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Possess a bold, fearless attitude and self-confidence
