Are you the person who’s always filming, editing, creating Reels or noticing what makes great social content?
Good Karma is looking for a creative, energetic Social Media + Content Creation Intern to help tell the story of two unique Capital Region brands.
Good Karma Studio is an aerial, circus arts, yoga and movement studio offering everything from aerial silks and lyra to aerial yoga, bungee, pole, fitness, workshops, kids programming and special events.
Good Karma Entertainment provides unique live entertainment for weddings, corporate events, festivals and private events, including aerialists, fire performers, stilt walkers, specialty performers and immersive entertainment.
This isn’t an internship where you’ll spend your semester making copies or sitting behind a desk.
You’ll have the opportunity to create real-world content, attend events, build your portfolio and see your ideas come to life across established brands.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Capture photo and video content at classes, workshops, performances and events
• Create Instagram and TikTok Reels and short-form video
• Edit photo and video content
• Create Instagram Stories and Canva graphics
• Help develop weekly and monthly content calendars
• Brainstorm creative campaigns and social trends
• Write and develop engaging social captions
• Create behind-the-scenes content
• Develop instructor, student and performer spotlights
• Repurpose existing photo and video content
• Organize digital content libraries
• Help develop wedding and event-industry marketing content
• Track social performance and identify what’s working
• Bring your own creative ideas to the table!
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Students studying or interested in:
Marketing • Communications • Social Media • Digital Media • Public Relations • Photography • Videography • Graphic Design • Event Marketing • Content Creation
You don’t need to be an aerialist or circus performer!
We’re much more interested in finding someone who is creative, reliable, comfortable with social media and excited to create visually engaging content.
Experience with Instagram, TikTok, photography or video editing is a MUST.
