MDM Studio, a private piano and voice studio located in Montville, NJ, is seeking to hire a warm and enthusiastic Associate Piano and Voice Teacher to teach weekly private lessons! In this role, you will teach students of various ages and skill levels. The role would be a part-time position; teaching a few private students one to two days a week between the ages of 5-17 with the opportunity to grow into additional days and hours. Piano lessons would be given from the studio or from student homes. Voice lessons would be held in the studio.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans that align with students’ individual goals and skill levels.
- Teach foundational piano skills, including note reading, rhythms, music theory, sight-reading and ear training (piano students).
- Develop vocal technique, build confidence and help to prepare students for auditions, recitals and other performances (voice students).
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to track progress, discuss goals, and recommend practice routines or additional resources.
A degree in music is preferred but current college music education and music performance majors should please also submit resumes.
A car for travel to the studio and possibly to student homes in needed for this position.
