Korean-Speaking Product / Design Assistant — Brooklyn

Sawkill Lumber is a Brooklyn-based reclaimed wood and design company. We're looking for a Korean-speaking graphic or product design student to assist with the development/launch of a small collection of products for the Korean market.

Work may include Korean market and product research, graphic/web content, sourcing and manufacturing research, and coordination with potential partners in Korea.

We’re looking for someone with strong design instincts, fluency in Korean and English, and an interest in product design, furniture, manufacturing, e-commerce, or bringing products to market. Familiarity with contemporary Korean design and consumer culture is especially helpful.

The position is part-time and paid, with flexible hours. Some work can be remote, with occasional meetings at our Brooklyn studio/showroom.
