JOB SUMMARY: The Graphic Design Intern will support the Marketing team by creating engaging visual content that strengthens the company's brand and supports business objectives. This position offers hands-on experience working on real-world marketing initiatives while receiving mentorship from an experienced creative professional. The intern will collaborate with team members across marketing, sales, and operations to develop creative solutions for digital and print media.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the design and production of marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, sell sheets, presentations, advertisements, trade show materials, and other branded assets.
- Create graphics for social media, email marketing, websites, blogs, and digital campaigns.
- Adapt and resize existing creative assets for multiple formats and platforms.
- Support photography, video, and multimedia projects as needed.
- Prepare print-ready files and digital assets according to brand and production specifications.
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative materials by following established brand standards.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute new ideas for marketing campaigns and visual storytelling.
- Conduct research on current design trends, marketing best practices, and competitor creative.
- Assist with event and trade show graphics, promotional materials, and environmental signage.
- Receive and incorporate creative feedback while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Present design concepts and creative rationale to members of the marketing team.
- Perform other creative and marketing-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, digital media, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, typography, layout, and visual communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience with Canva, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other software is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
