Band Director - part-time $75-$100/hour
We are looking for a teacher who thrives on flexibility and has a heart for meeting students exactly where they are academically and emotionally.
Role Details
- Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- Program Start: Thursday, September 3, 2026.
- Student Profile: Grades 3rd–8th; small classroom sizes to ensure individualized support.
- Compensation: $75-$100/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a starter band class twice weekly for approximately 20–25 students.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning profiles and IEPs.
- Collaborate with school staff
- Attend the Fall Instrument Try-Out Assembly on August 31, 2026, to meet students and build excitement and the Rental Night on Sep 2, 2026.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in primary band instruments (woodwinds, brass, and percussion).
- Exceptional patience and adaptability in a dynamic learning environment.
