Production Artist

Job Summary:       

 A production artist position with the opportunity to assist in the design and layout of catalogs and other printed materials as well as emails and digital web graphics. The ideal candidate can efficiently and effectively use InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator on a Mac.

Job Duties:

• Assist in the design and layout of catalogs and other printed materials.
• Assist with the layout and coding of marketing emails.
• Color retouching and resizing in Photoshop.
• Supporting the flow of several projects and their related workflow guidelines for images and layouts.
• Design digital graphics for website and online publications.
• Assist in tradeshow materials, product creation, and package design.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or seeking bachelor’s degree in appropriate field.
• Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator on the Mac platform. 
• Strong typographic principals and layout skills including the use of style sheets and multi-page documents.
• Ability to work well under pressure, handling several projects simultaneously.
• Must be detail oriented and work well in a team environment.

Hours:

20 hours a week (in office)
