Marketing & Operations Intern

Position Summary

StrucSure Home Warranty is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & Operations Intern to support our marketing, sales, and administrative teams. This role offers hands-on experience in marketing communications, graphic design, CRM management, social media, customer service, and office operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, creative, technology-savvy, and eager to learn while contributing to a fast-paced business environment. This position will work closely with the Marketing Manager and collaborate with multiple departments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Creative Support

  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Design and update social media graphics, presentations, flyers, brochures, and sales collateral.
  • Assist with content creation and scheduling for social media platforms.
  • Support marketing campaigns, email communications, and promotional initiatives.
  • Help maintain digital asset libraries, brand standards, and marketing files.
  • Assist with website content updates and digital marketing projects using WordPress and related content management systems.

CRM & Sales Support

  • Maintain and update contact records within HubSpot CRM.
  • Assist with lead imports, data cleanup, and record management.
  • Generate reports and support CRM-related projects.
  • Research prospective builders, industry contacts, and market opportunities.
  • Help prepare sales support materials and prospecting resources.

Administrative & Office Support

  • Assist with order fulfillment, including printing, assembling, and shipping builder and sales materials.
  • Support office operations through filing, scanning, document organization, and data entry.
  • Help manage office printing systems and Konica account administration.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide backup reception support when needed.
  • Coordinate mailings, shipping, and general administrative tasks.

Event & Project Support

  • Assist with trade show and event preparation.
  • Help coordinate promotional materials and event logistics.
  • Support special projects assigned by the Marketing Manager and leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with Canva required.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable learning new software platforms and technology tools.
  • Customer-service mindset and professional demeanor.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot.
  • Basic knowledge of website content management systems.
  • Interest in marketing, business operations, and project coordination.
