Worship Leader

Job Description - 

1. The position of Worship Leader at HCC consists of a handful of different responsibilities and duties. First, leading worship every Sunday morning at the 10:45am service, typically consisting of 6 songs throughout the service. 
2. Hosting weekly worship practice, preparing the stage for service as needed, crafting a weekly setlist, ensuring members of the worship and media team are aware of the song selection each week, etc.
3. Heading up the sound booth and coordinating volunteers each week is part of the workload. There is a recurring group that consistently helps with the sound booth/media each week as well, which the worship leader is responsible for communicating with. Technical knowledge regarding sound is not required but certainly preferred.
4. Being an active and vibrant member of the congregation! Participation and intentionality within HCC is a vital aspect of the job and is seen as fundamental to holding any office in the church. Basic participation in Sunday School, Worship Service, and Wednesday Service is desired. 
5. Being available (on-call) for opportunities that may require worship leader services. Ex, funeral/funeral adjacent services, occasional wednesday services that may need a worship leader etc.
6. Attending church leadership meetings.
