Social Media Coordinator
Job Title: Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator (Part-Time)
Position Overview:
Vault Dance Studio is seeking a creative, organized, and tech-savvy Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator to lead our social media and email marketing efforts while also providing in-studio client support. This part-time role is perfect for someone who is passionate about visual content, understands what makes social media work, and loves creating digital campaigns that connect with families and the local community.
Schedule & Compensation:
Hours: 9–10 hours/week (occasional additional event hours)
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays | 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Pay:$18–$22/hour depending on experience, portfolio quality, and skill level
- Location: Eugene, Oregon (in-studio presence required)
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Content Creation
- Develop and implement monthly social media calendars for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
- Create and post engaging content including photos, reels, carousels, and event promotions
- Stay up-to-date with social trends, algorithms, and best practices to boost visibility and engagement
- Design eye-catching graphics and marketing assets for dance workshops, classes, and special events
- Create and manage email campaigns via Mailchimp that drive interest and signups
Client Relations & Studio Support
- Greet students and families at the front desk during studio hours
- Answer basic questions about classes, events, and registration
- Help manage the CRM system, keeping contacts and student data organized
- Support with day-to-day studio tasks as needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Comfortable using social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook for content creation or engagement
- Comfortable filming and editing short-form video content (Instagram Reels/TikTok)
- Comfortable using Canva or similar tools for graphic design
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp)
- Bonus: experience using a CRM like Wellness Living, or fitDEGREE
- Friendly and welcoming in-person presence
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and a good eye for visuals
- Passionate about dance, the arts, or working in a community-based business
