We are seeking a Showroom Associate to join our New York City showroom.

 

WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:

The Showroom Associate’s primary responsibilities are to provide stockroom support, customer service, and help with the day-to-day operations of the showroom as assigned by senior management. Main duties will include fulfilling memo sample requests, handling mailing/shipping/receiving needs for samples and products as well as assisting clients. 

 

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in organizing the stockroom
  • Fulfill and ship all Atlanta showroom and regional customer sample requests
  • Maintain sample inventory 
  • Assists with the display of new inventory in the Samuel & Sons showroom
  • Replenishes stock and keep inventory of showroom supplies and collateral
  • Assists with the performance of daily inventory audits/cycle counts
  • Fill Outside Sales Associate sample requests and presentation packages as directed.
  • Assists clients on the floor with trim selections 
  • Develop lasting client relationships 
  • Work with the regional team to achieve individual sales goals

  • Passion for design 
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Professional presentation
  • Design or Art Degree/certificate preferred but not required
