Interior Designer
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer with a strong interest in custom residential design, construction drawings, and project management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about seeing projects through from concept to completion—including fully furnishing and styling luxury homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute full-service residential designs from initial concept through final installation
- Produce detailed construction drawing sets (floor plans, elevations, cabinetry, details, etc.)
- Produce detailed cabinet drawings
- Create 3D models and visualizations using SketchUp (or similar software) to support design development and client presentations
- Coordinate closely with builders, architects, and contractors throughout all project phases
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and design intent are maintained
- Source and specify furniture, lighting, materials, and finishes for fully furnished homes
- Prepare and present design concepts, materials, and selections to clients
- Collaborate with internal team members and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and SketchUp (or similar)
- Understanding of residential construction and detailing
- Innate design sensibility with the ability to execute both architectural and furnishing selections
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and client presentation skills
