What You’ll Do
As part of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you’ll help design, improve, and support the processes used to build our playground equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Support production teams by troubleshooting quality issues, analyzing processes, and helping implement improvements
- Participate in the development of new products—supporting prototypes, pilot runs, and first articles
- Create and maintain production documentation such as routings, work instructions, and engineering change orders (ECOs)
- Assist with Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events and internal audits
- Learn and apply ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental standards
- Help reduce scrap, rework, and downtime through preventive and corrective actions
- Collaborate closely with shop floor teams, engineers, and supervisors to solve problems and improve workflows

Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply!)
- Internship, co‑op, or entry‑level experience in manufacturing or engineering preferred
- Interest in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Strong problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team environment
- Comfortable spending time on the shop floor learning how things are made
Target hourly range: $32.00 – $39.00
Starting pay is based on qualifications, experience, and training needs. This range reflects compensation for a fully qualified candidate, with flexibility for early‑career engineers.
