Social Media Content Specialist (Part-Time)
$20–$25/hour (based on experience)
*REQUIRED TO BE IN MARIN OR SONOMA COUNTY for relevant content creation.
Help grow a startup app across Sonoma & Marin County through consistent, high-quality content.
What You’ll Do:
- Travel locally to film at businesses and job sites
- Capture testimonials & promotional videos
- Edit short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) + assist with YouTube videos
- Write captions, scripts, and apply basic social media SEO
- Schedule, post, and repurpose content across platforms
- Maintain at least 4 posts per week
- Monitor comments and engagement
What You Need:
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
- Your own filming equipment (phone/camera, audio, stabilization)
- Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
- Understanding of short-form content, hooks, and engagement
- Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and adapt tone by platform
Nice to Have:
- Experience filming testimonials or working with local/service businesses
- Familiarity with YouTube optimization (titles, thumbnails, retention)

- Consistent, on-time content production
- Clean, engaging videos that build trust
- Growth in reach, engagement, and watch time over time
