Landscape Design Intern
This internship is designed for someone who wants hands-on experience in both landscape design and sales. You’ll work directly with our team to learn how to take a project from the first client conversation through design, proposal, and closing the deal.
This is not a “sit and watch” role—you’ll be actively involved in real projects, client interactions, and the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Design Support
- Assist in creating landscape designs (2D and/or 3D depending on tools used)
- Help with site measurements, photos, and project documentation
- Support material selection (plants, pavers, fixtures, etc.)
- Revise designs based on client feedback
Sales & Client Interaction
- Attend client consultations and take notes
- Help prepare proposals, estimates, and presentations
- Follow up with leads and clients via phone, email, or text
- Learn and apply sales techniques, objection handling, and closing strategies
Field Exposure
- Visit job sites to understand installation processes
- Coordinate with crews and project managers
- Ensure designs are being executed properly
Administrative & Marketing Support
- Update CRM with client information and job status
- Assist with before/after photos and project documentation
- Support basic marketing efforts (social media, project highlights, etc.)

- Has an eye for design and aesthetics
- Wants to understand both the creative and business side of landscaping
- Is proactive and not afraid to take initiative
