Janelle Nolan & Associates Environmental Consulting is seeking Seasonal On-Call Botanical Technicians to support rare plant and non-native invasive plant surveys throughout the Sierra Nevada and foothills of California. Responsibilities include assisting lead botanists with special-status plant surveys, invasive plant mapping, GPS/data collection, and technical reporting. Fieldwork is seasonal and on-call, generally between late May and early August, and may involve hiking in rugged terrain, camping, and working long days outdoors. Ideal candidates are pursuing botany, ecology, environmental science, or related fields and have field experience, strong organizational skills, and an interest in botanical resource management. Pay ranges from $22–$26/hour depending on experience, with overtime when applicable.
