Laundromat Attendant
The Laundromat Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and supporting daily operations such as wash-dry-fold service, machine monitoring, and general upkeep.
Customer Service
Greet customers warmly and assist with questions about machines, payment systems, and laundry products.
Provide guidance on machine use and troubleshoot minor issues.
Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
Wash–Dry–Fold (WDF) Service
Receive and tag customer laundry orders accurately.
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and package laundry to company standards.
Ensure correct labeling and timely completion of orders.
Maintain quality control for stains, special instructions, and garment care.
Store Operations & Cleaning
Keep the laundromat clean, organized, and welcoming at all times, including floors, folding tables, bathrooms, and trash.
Wipe down and sanitize machines regularly.
Restock laundry supplies, vending items, and cleaning products.
Monitor machines for errors and report maintenance needs promptly.
Cash Handling & POS
Open or close the store according to procedures.
Operate the register/POS system accurately.
Count down drawers, balance shifts, and follow cash-handling policies (if applicable).
Machine Monitoring
Check for off-balance loads, machine errors, and stuck cycles.
Assist customers experiencing machine problems.
Report malfunctions to management immediately.
Job Requirements
Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic math and organizational skills.
Must be able to lift 20–30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working with commercial washers, dryers, chemicals, and cleaning supplies.
Previous laundry or customer service experience helpful but not required.
Work Environment
Fast-paced, hands-on, and customer-focused.
Exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals.
Evening, weekend, or holiday shifts may be required.
