TREXI Design is accepting FASHION DESIGN INTERNSHIP applicants in their Junior or Senior Year of Fashion Design School. 

 

Part Time Internship

 

Location: TREXI Design Studio

105 East Glenside Avenue, Suite A

Glenside, PA 19038

(one block from Septa's Glenside Station)

 

Candidate will have introduction to get experience in the following:

  • Sewing Skills (machine stitching and hand stitching)
  • Altering Formal Wear including Hems, Etc.
  • Introduction and Experience with Couture Construction, Fabrications and Techniques (Lace, Appliques, Tulles, French Seams, Zippers, Covered Buttons, Beading, Boning, Horsehair Hems, Baby Hems, Corsets, Bustles, etc.)
  • Client Fittings
  • Fabric Cutting 
  • Pattern Making and Manipulation
  • Professionalism with Clients and Design Team
  • Willingness to lend a hand in the design studio as a team player.
  • Marketing
  • Daily Design Studio Operations including Administrative Roles
