Schedule: 8-12 hours per week (flexible based on academic schedule)
Location: Remote, with occasional in-person collaboration (Fort Mill/Rock Hill, SC area)

This internship is structured to provide direct mentorship, real client project exposure, and practical guidance on how professional designers think, present ideas and execute work. The goal is to help the intern grow both creatively and professionally while building a strong, real-world portfolio.
Position Overview
Deese Creative is seeking a talented, detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to join a fast-paced, multi-industry design environment spanning sports, building products, and manufacturing. This role offers hands-on experience supporting the creative execution of visual content across digital campaigns, social media, presentations, brand assets, and marketing materials for a diverse range of clients.
The intern will work closely with an experienced creative professional, gaining real-world exposure to brand development, visual storytelling, and strategic design thinking. This internship is designed to provide meaningful mentorship, portfolio-building opportunities, and insight into how creative work supports business goals across multiple industries.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the concept development and visual design of integrated campaigns, including digital ads and social graphics
- Create and refine layouts, graphics, and marketing materials across sports, building, and manufacturing clients
- Support brand consistency by organizing and maintaining design assets and file libraries
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop (you’ll deepen your technical skills through real-world application and feedback)
- Exposure to Adobe InDesign is helpful, but not required (you’ll have opportunities to expand your layout and publication design skills)
- A foundational understanding of typography, layout, and color with a desire to refine and elevate your design instincts
- Openness to creative critique and a willingness to iterate and improve
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, organized files
- A developing portfolio that demonstrates potential, creativity, and a solid design foundation’
- Access to a computer running Adobe Creative Cloud software
