About the Position
Sky 3 Entertainment is an independent entertainment company based in Nashville, TN offering unpaid remote internships, with options for academic credit. We are seeking highly motivated individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the entertainment industry to assist in promoting and managing a modern country artist.
This internship provides real-world, on-the-job experience in artist promotion, social media strategy, and artist management. Interns are assigned meaningful projects based on skills, interests, and career goals. Applicants may choose to focus on one track or both tracks, depending on availability and interest. Applicants outside the Nashville area are welcome, as this position is fully remote.
Social Media and Marketing Track
This track focuses on promotion, content, and audience engagement.
Responsibilities may include
- Creating and scheduling social media posts, stories, reels, and short-form content
- Managing social media outreach, messaging, networking, and follow-up
- Assisting with marketing campaigns and promotional strategies
- Engaging with fans and supporting street team activity
- Helping develop and maintain a consistent artist brand across platforms
- Assisting with content planning and organization
- Supporting basic analytics and engagement tracking
Artist Management and Operations Track
This track focuses on artist coordination, communication, and day-to-day management support.
Responsibilities may include
- Coordinating communication between the artist, band members, management, staff, and interns
- Assisting with artist management tasks as directed
- Contacting venues and special events for booking opportunities
- Creating outreach communications for venues, media, and industry contacts
- Contacting songwriters, radio stations, TV stations, and music industry entities
- Assisting with scheduling, planning, and administrative tasks
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Updating shared documents using Google Docs and online tools
General Qualifications
Applicants for one or both tracks must
- Commit 10 to 15 hours per week for a minimum of three months
- Be available 4 to 5 days per week for a minimum of 2 hours per day
- Have reliable computer and internet access and be available by phone and email
- Possess working knowledge of Google Docs, Calendars, and spreadsheets
- Be proficient with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Have experience using Canva
- Be familiar with Microsoft Office programs
- Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus
- Have an outgoing personality and positive attitude
- Be capable of working independently and in non-traditional work environments
- Be willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities
- Possess strong time management skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate
Additional Information
- This internship is unpaid. Academic credit may be available depending on school requirements
- Interns located in the Nashville area who wish to assist at venue performances where alcohol is served must be 21 or older and may not consume alcohol while working
- No age requirement applies for remote or non-venue projects
