CPaGE Enrollment Services Student Assistant

CPaGE Enrollment Services

Note: This position is located at the SF State main campus, 1600 Holloway Avenue, SF CA

The College of Professional & Global Education (CPaGE) provides international, domestic students, and professional groups access to academic education, professional development, and enriching opportunities at SF State.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist and direct CPaGE students with enrollment and record questions.
  • Provide great customer service.
  • Answer questions and provide correct information in-person, on phones, and in emails.
  • Work on excel spreadsheets, student database
  • Work with a diverse group of working professionals and university students.
  • Other special projects

Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently enrolled at SF State.
  • The job requires handling sensitive materials. Candidate must act in a professional manner and be able to keep information confidential.
  • Detail oriented and organized person.
  • Must be able to follow and explain spoken and written directions.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Great communication skills (oral and written).
  • Friendly and customer/client oriented.
  • Punctual and responsible.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, pay attention to detail and can work independently.
  • Ability to conduct accurate data entry and basic knowledge of computer is required.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Applicant must be confident and friendly with the public and communicate well.

SF State Requirements:

  • Undergraduate student must be a current SF State student enrolled in at least six units. Graduate student must be a current SF State student enrolled in at least four units. 
  • Must be in good academic standing (2.0 minimum GPA).
  • Background check 

Days/Hours & Duration of Job:  

  • Working Hours Between: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
  • Up to 20 flexible hours / week 
  • Should be able to work a minimum of 6-8 hours/ week.
  • Should be able to work during the Summer and Winter months and multiple semesters

Hourly Rate: $20.00
