TREXI Design is seeking Couture Seamstresses and Alterations Specialists to assist with Couture Gown Production, Bridal Gown Alterations and Formal Gown Alterations at TREXI Design Studio. 

 

Part Time Position/Hourly Rate

 

Location: TREXI Design Studio

105 East Glenside Avenue, Suite A

Glenside, PA 19038

(one block from Septa's Glenside Station)

 

Candidate must have:

  • Meticulous Craftsmanship of Sewing Skills (machine stitching and hand stitching required)
  • Experience Sewing, Finishing, and Hemming Formal Wear
  • Knowledge and Experience in Couture Construction, Fabrications and Techniques (Lace, Appliques, Tulles, French Seams, Zippers, Covered Buttons, Beading, Boning, Horsehair Hems, Baby Hems, Corsets, Bustles, etc.)
  • Fabric Cutting 
  • Pattern Making and Manipulation
  • Professionalism with Clients and Design Team
  • Willingness to lend a hand in the design studio as a team player.
