Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and curious Video Innovator to develop engaging video content that elevates our brand and connects with audiences. In this role, you will work with raw footage and creative concepts to produce compelling videos, while exploring new tools and techniques including AI and motion design.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, experimenting with new ideas, and growing their creative and technical skills in a collaborative environment.

This program has been an incredibly valuable and enriching experience, offering hands-on exposure and real-world insights that are rarely available at this stage. One of the most unique aspects is the opportunity to be mentored directly by the CEO, gaining firsthand guidance, strategic perspective, and leadership insights that are invaluable for long-term growth. Importantly, this is the final session in which the program will be conducted, making it a truly exclusive opportunity that will not be repeated in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and editing of video content aligned with SkyIT’s brand
  • Experiment with AI tools, motion graphics, and creative video techniques
  • Assist with cutting footage, improving pacing, and enhancing overall video quality
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorming and campaign development
  • Help design thumbnails and visuals for digital platforms
  • Add captions, audio enhancements, and other finishing touches
  • Stay curious and open to learning new trends and tools in video and AI
  • Collaborate with team members across different projects
  • Apply feedback from mentorship sessions to improve your work

Qualifications

  • Interest in video editing, digital media, film, design, or related areas
  • Familiarity with video editing tools (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
  • Curiosity about AI tools, motion design, or emerging media technologies
  • A portfolio or sample work (academic or personal projects welcome)
  • Interest in social media or digital storytelling
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow in a team environment

Internship Details:

  • The minimum internship duration is 3 months and minimum working hours per week is 20 hours.
  • This is an unpaid internship.
  • All applicants MUST be a university senior or above.
  • We are a Canadian-based company.
  • All positions are remote.
  • We require mandatory meeting availability (depending on your role).
  • Work hours are based in MST (Mountain Standard Time).
