Business Analyst

questions to Company Overview:

This role is within a portfolio company of Metro Global Ventures. The portfolio company is a SaaS case management platform for legal professionals to conveniently organize their workload and their firm's operations. 

Position Overview:

As a business analyst, you will have meaningful input on significant design, development, and business prioritization decisions for a rapidly growing software platform. 

Prior experience in software engineering, product ownership, or business analyst roles is not required. 

You must be prepared to quickly build an understanding of the platform and the client base, and to use strong written and verbal communication skills to plan design improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Determine what features should be built to improve the platform, how to design those features, and prioritize different project options by meeting with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with clients, business staff, and developers to integrate feedback on requirements.
• Coordinate with developers to create and execute product development and testing plans.
• Establish and improve processes for understanding customer feedback, planning future features, and coordinating with teams.
• Notice, understand, and clear organizational and communication roadblocks to product design and development.

Qualifications:

Must be a current senior graduating in spring of 2026 or a recent graduate.

The position requires the ability to:

• Quickly build an understanding of our platform, our clients' needs, and our internal processes.
• Communicate clearly with and coordinate between different teams.
• Write and revise detailed descriptions of a software platform's user interface and underlying functionality for current and new features.
• Manage multiple projects at one time while meeting deadlines and responding promptly to issues and questions.
