Early Childhood Music Instructor
Our Music Academy is looking for a caring instructors who can teach our early childhood music program to ages 3 - 6, group classes, and private music lessons. Ability to teach other instruments to an advanced level is a plus but not a must. We are dedicated to cultivating an exceptional environment for music education. We do all the work so you can teach.
We value teachers who are open to learning, always seeking ways to improve lessons and classes, have an outgoing personality, and have a nurturing spirit. Most importantly we are looking for team players.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, excited about teaching music, always arrive 15 minutes early to class to set up the room, have great communication skills, timely response to all communications with managers, maintain constant communication with caregivers, assess students and meet them where they are, and have a passion for sharing music with others.
Teacher must have a degree in music education.
Teachers will teach on site at our location and off site in local schools as needed.

Responsibilities
- Teach our early child hood music program ages 3 - 6, group classes, and private lessons.
- Able to teach on location at TMA and offsite at local schools
- Have a minimum of 2 days availability
Qualifications
- Degree in music education
- Strong musical skills and knowledge of music theory, music scaffolding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Nurturing and supportive approach to teaching
- Teaching experience in early childhood music
- Experience teaching groups
- Must have a car
- Commit to teach current schedule for a minimum of one year. We are looking for teachers who want to teach. If you have frequent gigs and absences, this is not for you.
- Timely and reliable: we believe consistency in lessons is important to student growth and success.
