Position: AutoCAD/Revit Specialist

The AutoCAD/Revit Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality design solutions. This role requires intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software, a solid understanding of architectural construction plans, and a willingness to learn food service equipment specifications. You will work closely with the project management team to produce accurate food service equipment plans, elevations, shop drawings, and 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Produce food service drawing packages in Revit and/or AutoCAD, tailored for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and technical staff to deliver accurate drawings under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Create and revise drawings, ensuring cost-effective methods are utilized.
• Draft detailed food service plans to integrate seamlessly into architectural submissions.
• Prepare bills of material, schedules, and assist in formal drawing transmittal and construction-related issues.
• Maintain compliance with company drafting standards and procedures while meeting project deadlines.
• Work closely with designers and project managers to ensure quality and accuracy in deliverables.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.
• Strong familiarity with drafting techniques, engineering concepts, and terminology.
• Attention to detail and the ability to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications.

Education & Certifications

• Required: Associate’s degree in Drafting or equivalent.
• Preferred: Advanced training or certifications in AutoCAD, Revit, and related software.

Experience

• At least 2 years of drafting experience required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a minimum of 2 years of experience using these platforms.
• Knowledge of food service equipment and its application in design preferred.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and SketchUp.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation

• Salary: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year (based on experience).
