Market Research Intern

Job description 

We are Fulcrum Research Group, a division of SAI MedPartners – a primary market research company based in Waltham, Massachusetts focused exclusively on healthcare. Our custom quantitative and qualitative market research helps pharmaceutical and medical device healthcare clients answer key business questions. 

Position 

We are building our team of market research interns for Summer 2026 to join our fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving workplace. This is a paid, 12-week, full-time, internship. Interested candidates should be enrolled in their third year at a four-year undergraduate institution (or equivalent) and be prepared to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks, beginning June 1, 2026, through August 21, 2026.

What you’ll do… 

Participate in all phases of market research, including… 

• creation of surveys and discussion guides used in research  
• management of data collection vendors 
• engage with interviews with healthcare professionals, patients/caregivers 
• organization and quality control of quantitative data 
• report development 

What you bring… 

• Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, marketing, clinical science) 
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint (scripting/code not necessary, but a plus) 
• Strong analytical mindset 
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational abilities 
• Effective oral and written communication skills 
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team 
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
