Summer Camp Photographer

Location: Camps Kenwood and Evergreen (K&E) in Wilmot, NH

Dates: June 14 - August 8, 2026

Starting Salary: $2800 + $150 travel allowance

Time Off: 2-3 hours per day and 1 day per week

Perks: We provide housing, meals, and snacks for the whole summer! Laundry is on-site, bathrooms are inside cabins, and our lake is private.

What You’ll Do:

• Be on the move! Spend your days around camp photographing our many areas, activities, age groups, and events
• Capture everything from high-energy action to quiet, candid moments
• Ensure each camper is represented in photos throughout the summer
• Transfer and organize images daily using our local server and Adobe Lightroom’s star-rating system
• Do light editing in Lightroom and occasional adjustments in Photoshop 
• Upload approved photos (2+ stars) to our parent communication platform (Campanion)
• Collaborate closely with our Media Director, Videographer, and Social Media Manager as part of the media team
• Use our pro-grade equipment (or bring your own if preferred)
• Build a robust portfolio in lifestyle, documentary, outdoor, and portrait photography
• Gain real-world experience shooting fast-moving, dynamic subjects in various lighting conditions

Bonus: We love getting our staff certified in lifeguarding and high ropes (mostly belaying from the ground). If you’re interested, we can train you at camp for free – you’d just arrive at staff training a few days earlier. Additionally, if you’d rather get lifeguard certified at your local pool, we can cover the cost of the course!

About K&E: We are a traditional, long-session brother-sister overnight camp situated beside the gorgeous Eagle Pond. We’re two hours from Boston, but our campers (ages 7-15) and staff come from all over the world. Campers and staff also embark on trips to local attractions, mountains, and beaches throughout the summer.
