Graphic Design Intern

Company: NOVA//SYNC Esports, LLC
Location: US Remote Only
Time Commitment: 10–15 hours/week (flexible)

About the role:
This is an unpaid internship supporting the creative direction of NOVA//SYNC Esports, LLC. You’ll help design visuals that shape how our org shows up online: matchday assets, announcements, content promos, and brand graphics. You’ll get real portfolio pieces, direct feedback, and credit on published work.

Expected responsibilities

Design social media graphics (matchday, wins/losses, roster announcements, tryouts, community events)

Create reusable templates for consistent branding across platforms

Assist with brand visuals (banners, headers, thumbnails, overlays, sponsor graphics)

Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and content needs

Prepare exports for multiple platforms (correct sizes, formats, naming conventions)

Manage files cleanly (organised folders, version control, timely deliverables)

Iterate quickly based on feedback while staying on brand

Minimum requirements

Portfolio or samples (personal or class projects are fine)

Proficiency with at least one design tool (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva, Affinity, Photopea, etc.)

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Reliable communication and responsiveness in a remote environment

Interest in esports/gaming and online communities

US-based and authorised to work as an intern in the US

Preferred skills

Motion graphics/animation (After Effects, Premiere, CapCut, etc.)

Experience with esports visuals (match graphics, roster cards, overlays)

Basic video thumbnail design and an eye for readable text hierarchy

Ability to follow brand guidelines and keep a consistent look/feel
