Role Overview

We are seeking dependable, engaging, and knowledgeable tutors to lead small-group tutoring sessions (approximately 5 students per group). Tutors play a critical role in shaping student outcomes and maintaining the high standards Tiger Tutoring Co. is known for.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy teaching, value structure, and want to be part of a growing education-focused company.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate engaging, structured group tutoring sessions

Deliver clear explanations and adjust instruction based on student understanding

Encourage participation and maintain a positive, focused learning environment

Track student progress and communicate observations through internal systems

Maintain professionalism in all interactions with students, parents, and staff

Adhere to Tiger Tutoring Co.’s instructional standards, policies, and expectations

Participate in required training and quality assurance reviews

Schedule & Capacity

Tutors may teach up to 5 sessions per day

Up to 25 sessions per week, based on availability and program needs

Sessions are scheduled in advance and follow a consistent weekly structure

Qualifications

Required:

Currently enrolled in or graduated from a college or university OR
equivalent professional experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable availability and punctuality

Ability to manage and engage small groups of students

Preferred:

Prior tutoring, teaching, or classroom experience

Background in Math, Science, English/Reading, or STEM-related fields

Experience working with K–12 or college-aged students

Comfort using virtual learning tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
