Role: Junior UX UI Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic UX/UI team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced designers in crafting visually stunning and user-friendly digital experiences. The Junior Designer will primarily focus on graphic design tasks, supporting the team in delivering engaging visuals that align with our brand and user-centric design principles. You will communicate with the Lead UX UI designers, development or leadership teams to go over the breakdown of the features, product roadmap, user growth stats, or any new initiatives.

We are looking for a competent, confident and hungry UI /UX designer who is willing to work on getting better everyday and execute flawlessly.  Beyond a doubt, we have an exciting roadmap ahead for Hanger – thus necessitating growth and expansion on our team!

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the UX UI team to create high-quality graphic designs for web and mobile applications, marketing materials, and digital campaigns.
  • Assist in designing user interfaces that enhance usability and improve user experience.
  • Work with the Lead UX UI Designers to ensure designs are aligned with project requirements and overall design strategy.
  • Prepare and present design concepts, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing.
  • Support the product team in maintaining and evolving design systems, style guides, and asset libraries.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and techniques.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Strong digital Design skills
  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Figma)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Problem solving - Ability to identify challenges and devise creative , user-centric solutions.
  • Flexible in handling requests and able to switch tasks quickly if needed
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment
  • Out of Box thinker and creator
  • Good eye for detail and consistency; no detail is too small or insignificant
  • Excellent collaboration skills and visual communication ability
  • Eligible to work in the US
  • Attend the weekly UX UI calls 1 hour per week and Monthly Product call (1 hour per week).

 

Requirements

  •  1-2 years of design experience (web/mobile, web/native applications) product design, UI/UX, interaction and graphic design including internships or freelance work.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
  • Portfolio that reflects your level of design skills;
  • Understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout.
  • Basic knowledge of UX Principles and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools and responsive design concepts is a plus.
  • Good command in written and spoken English;
  • Experience with chat applications or a chat-based interface is important;
  • The ability to prioritize design tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for design.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to feedback.

 

As a plus

  • Academic certificate in Design/digital Arts or related field.
  • Experience in conducting user interviews.
  • Experience in Mobile Application Development
  • Interest in Fashion!
