The National Performing Arts Funding Exchange has a near-term, high-priority need for a university senior or recent graduate post-production genius with a lot of imagination, not just technical skills. You will review about 3 hours of raw footage to create a 4 to 7 minute Proof of Concept video (PoCv) for our 8-episode Arc and Sound of Dance film proposal to a major streamer. The PoCv must center on showing a filming process, not the Arc and Sound of Dance story. Specifically, it must prove that 1) our approach to filming will generate a distinct, one-of-a-kind, emotionally compelling cinematic experience, 2) within the first 20-30 seconds, the PoCv shows how we can successfully film the act of creation itself as the real performance, with people, dance, cameras, camera people, and more actually players in the episodes, and 3) our way of filming is one that audiences will have never seen before and one that they will not want to stop watching. You will be working with existing raw footage, and the PoCv must be created using Adobe Premiere Pro and, where necessary for stills and audio, Photoshop and Audition - no exceptions.
